DMCA & Copyright

Last updated: 3 November 2026

Certs4Sale respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the people who use this site to do the same. This page explains how to tell us about material you believe infringes your copyright, what we do when we receive such a notice, and how someone affected by a removal can respond.

What is published here

Almost everything on certs4sale.com is study material we compile and publish ourselves, together with vendor and certification names used to identify which examination each product relates to. We are not a file-sharing service and we do not host a public upload facility.

That does not make us immune to error. If you hold a copyright or trademark and believe something we publish infringes it, tell us and we will look at it properly.

How to send a notice

Send your notice by email to our designated copyright agent:

Copyright Agent, Certs4Sale
128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom
Email: [email protected]
Subject line: Copyright notice

So that we can act on it, please include all of the following. These are the elements required by section 512(c)(3) of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act, and they are also what we need in order to deal with a complaint under UK law:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property you say has been infringed. If several works are covered by one notice, a representative list is enough.
  • Identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it — a direct URL on this site is best.
  • Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use complained of is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

An incomplete notice slows things down, and we may come back to you for more information before we act.

What we do when we receive a notice

  • We acknowledge every notice within 2 business days.
  • We review it promptly and, where the complaint is substantiated, remove or disable access to the material concerned.
  • Where the material was supplied or uploaded by someone other than us, we notify that person that it has been removed, and we may pass on a copy of your notice, including the contact details in it, so they can respond.
  • We keep a record of notices received and of the action taken.

We may remove material while we are still investigating. Doing so is not an admission that the material infringes anything.

Counter-notice

If material of yours has been removed and you believe that was a mistake, or that you hold the rights or a licence to use it, you may send us a counter-notice at the same address. Please include:

  • identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  • your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
  • your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, and, if you are outside the United Kingdom, your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live, together with your agreement to accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

We will forward a valid counter-notice to the person who complained. We may restore the material after 10 to 14 business days unless we are told that proceedings have been started to stop the activity concerned.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others, and we may close an account after a single serious infringement.

False claims

Submitting a notice or counter-notice that you know to be false is a serious matter. Under section 512(f) of the DMCA, anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation may be liable for the costs and legal fees incurred by the other side and by us. Please be sure of your position before you write.

Trademarks

Vendor and certification names on this site — Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, VMware, Dell EMC, Amazon Web Services and others — are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify which examination a product relates to. Certs4Sale is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. See our Disclaimer.

Trademark complaints go to the same address as copyright complaints, with a description of the mark, the registration details, and where on the site the use appears.
